Renewals 2024

The annual subscription is currently £28.00 per calendar year which includes CIU yearly pass card. Senior Citizens get a concessionary rate after completing 5 years as a full member (subs £13.00 which includes the CIU yearly pass card). Subscriptions are due every January. Members have the whole of January to pay their subs in the office; times are posted on the office door and the notice board.

Any member failing to renew by the end of January, and as from 1st February, there will be a £5 fine payable with your subscriptions.  As at the end of February, you will become a lapsed member and will no longer be able to use the club until which time they have paid their subs in full to the office.

Any member failing to do this by the end of February will cease to be a member.​

New Members

We now currently take on new members all year round. To become a member you will first need to have your name added to the new members list. To do this, please fill in an application form and hand it in, either direct to the office, to any committee member or the bar staff.

To get a membership form you can either:

WE LOOK FORWARD TO YOU JOING OUR AWARD WINNING CLUB

When your name comes up, you will be contacted by the Club Secretary, informing you of the date and time of your interview. You will then be given an application form which needs to be filled in, proposed and seconded by two current members. When complete, hand this form back to the office at least 48 hours before your interview with the club committee. If you have not been contacted within 24 hours of your interview, you will have been accepted.

Joining Fees
Successful applicants are then given 30 days to pay their joining fees or you can pay on the night after the Committee meeting, costs are explained below:

Club Joining Fee £20.00 (this is a one off cost).
First Years Subs £24.50 (this subs fee is to the end of December 2024, this amount reduces each quarter for those joining part way through the year)

Privilege Card £5.00
CIU Associate Card £3.50
CIU Yearly Pass Card £3.50
Card Wallet £4.00

This gives you a total first year cost of £60.50
