The New Eltham Social Club

The New Eltham Social Club was founded in September 1893. It moved from its original leased home in Footscray Road (now occupied by Dance Wise above the Co-op supermarket), after purchasing 32 Avery Hill Road in January 1901.
We are a members social club affiliated to the C.I.U. with over 1000 members. The larger downstairs bar, features a well stocked bar with a wide range of beers,lagers,real ales and spirits, two pool tables which are only 50p a game, gaming machines, quiz machine, a  big screen and 4 large LCD tvs for watching live sports.The downstairs bar also has a dance floor and stage for the weekend's entertainment (see gig list for details).
The smaller upstairs bar is open mainly Thursday and Friday evenings, with 2 large LCD tvs, a Pool Table and Dart Board.This bar is also available for hire by members only.
The club welcomes affiliated C.I.U members with the exception of Christmas Eve and New Years Eve which are members only nights.
The club boasts two dart teams a pool team and a pigeon flying club. We have bingo with cash prizes every Thursday evening and a quiz night once a month.
